I have a 2006 SS N/A. I have some curb damage on 2 of the wheels alrready. I came across a deal though to get 4 new rims from an SS S/C. The 18" from the S/C will fit on my SS N/A (17" Stock wheels) right? Same 5 bolt pattern?

I know nothing about wheels and tires, but will my current tires on my 17"s fit on these 18" rims? Not sure if tires can stretch on different rims, like I said I know nothing of rims and tires. If not, no big deal because the 18" wheels are suppose to have tires on them already, but I would like to throw mine on if possible.

 

Yes, the ss and the ss/sc are both 5-110 bolt pattern.

No, you have to use 18" tires with 18" rims, etc.

When my friend drops there wheels off, should I just take me old ones off and throw these on myself, or should I take it to my dealer to be done? Guess what I am asking is does anything need balanced or what not?

 

Unless he took the wheel weights off for some bizarre reason, no.

Also, make sure and use the factory jacking points, and jack. (and maybe jack stands too)
