thats interesting
I was goin to run the same setup you have basically.
now im not so sure on the axles because im definatley getting the exedy clutch.
I dont want my 3rd gear to blow all the time..

I've used DSS axles in everything we've raced or run hard on the street for years now, and I have but one thing to say about them...

Buy them.

You will not be disappointed.

They come with completely new machined hubs (at least the cavalier ones do) they are a very nice setup, and having all that machining and stating they hold 800 HP, that is where the $1500 price tag comes in.

basicly if you can afford to make 600+hp to need these axles, you can afford to buy the setup.

They rate them with HP, but as we all know, Torque is what breaks them I would guess it would be matched HP and Torque ratings.

that would make zero sense, mainly because the stock axles are good (pending wheel hop and traction mods) to around 300 or so

why would that make zero sense when they make a level 2 that is 400 hp?

its cool. i mean i only want like 400whp but i dont want axles that are rated for that, i want them to be rated just a lil higher and 1500 is rather pricey considering ill never be going close to 800hp lol so i figured with level 3/4 (if they have them) they will be more reliable than level 2 and save you money over having to buy level 5. just the way i like to have my car set up, with more room to go but not doing it. i will stay 100 minimum below what the lowest rated part is

There is just no margin on these to offer any discounts for a GB, plus it would be hard to get 10 members to commit to purchasing in a week time frame.
