Ah gotcha, i used off the shelf grand am hubs up front, and everything else there is the same as yours comes with stock. However, you have to ensure that the ABS tooth count is the same.
My rotors have both 5x110 and 5x114.3 drilled into them, so they may just be re-drilled TC rotors. I'll confirm that though.

So re-reading this - how'd you use the TC axles? I know we can use other bits, but I thought their hubs and axles were off-limits because of tooth count or different sensors or something. :???:

Does anyone know how hard it would be to convert to 5x114.3 on an LS/LT? Im guess I could use the grand-am hubs and everything for the front. Im not sure what I would need or what is even needed with the back though since it has drums. Any ideas?

Ya if you want 15" or 16". You can still find a few nice 17" 4x100 but the selection is far limited and the widths are poor. The perfect fit for the cobalt is 17x8 or 17x9, all of which are 5x114.3. Ive been waiting forever for Rota to produce the IK-F in 17x8.5 and 4x100 but I have yet to see anyone selling them at all. Most of the 17's that are 4 lug are 7in wide which I personally think are too narrow for this car. Drag does make a few nice wheels that are 17x7.5 though, thats a bit better.

Is there anyway to convert to 5x114 without all the other upgrades? Like an economy based conversion. I have my 5x114 Enkei Lussos from my last car just sitting here brand new with brand new tires. Would love to install them on my SS/TC. 18x7.5" 42 offset, 5x114, 5.90" backspace. 225/40/18s on them.

Due to the amount of PM's i am recieving about how i will be mounting the 19" Axis Super Hiros, with their 5x114.3 Lug pattern on my 06 Cobalt SS, I am releasing the information on my full hub swap and brake conversion.
The brakes do not need to be converted, but i chose to go that route because, well, better brakes can never be overlooked.
I will post pictures as the build continues, and do a full How-To
SPECIAL THANKS TO JOHN AT POWELL MOTORSPORTS, AND BRAD(MAVEN) FOR HIS AWESOME GENUINE GM PARTS. NOT TO MENTION BOTH FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING SUPPORT OF MY RELATIVE IGNORANCE
SCOPE:
Ok, i got sick and tired of the cruddy selection of attractive wheels for our factory 5x110. Actually, i didn't find ANY that I liked, so i decided to swap to 5x114.3, which is one of the most common 5 lug hub patterns. I remembered hearing someplace that the Grand Am Time Attack Cobalts were all running a 5x114.3 Grand Am hub conversion. I got into contact with the Powell Motorsports crew that was responsible for building the Time Attack cars for GMPerformanceDivision back in 05. We discussed the multiple angles with which we could approach this situation, and ended up settling on Grand Am hubs. These hubs, along with an LNF Brembo front brake conversion, and LNF knuckles and axles (which are considerably stronger that the production LSJ versions) make up the front hub conversion. The rear consists of a modified rear TWB, with an adjustable chromoly sway bar, transplanted from the Time Attack car, and revised end plates for the rear hubs.
Also included in this build are the OTTPerfomance CnC'd "Rotato Potato" mounts as i like to call them and OTTPerformance steering rack shims.
Also, there will be stainless steel braided brake lines all around (Also from OTT)
PARTS LIST:
Time attack Twisting Beam
Rear Caliper plate
front wheel bearings 5x114.3
rear wheel bearings 5x114.3
Rear caliper set used with pads and handbrake mechanism
Rotated Motor mounts
Shipped as a complete axle with bearings, brake hoses, calipers, pads, bolt in.
Front Knuckles TC
Front Axles TC
Brembo calipers 4 piston
Brembo rotors Solid, new
Steering Rack Spacers
SS/SC Rear Calipers Remanufactured
PICTURES:
Brembo Calipers before yellow powder coat
Yellow Paint!
TWB Bearing Plate

THREAD WILL BE UPDATED WHEN PROGRESS IS MADE, AND AGAIN WHEN THE INSTALLATION IS DONE

No the hubs are only 5x114.3. He had to redrill the stock SS/TC rotors that have the stock 5x110 pattern to 5x114.3 to fit on the wheel studs... His front hubs are from a grand am that has the optimal bolt pattern. All your questions can be answered if you just look at the first couple pages and read.
