Ur asking a question that u none of us can really answer, if ur warrenty guy goes by the book then no, he will boid it due to aftermarket equipement that puts more strain on the engine then stock but we have no idea if they will even notice it was changed so people have gotten lucky before but thats due to ignorance of the dealership or they had a guy that liked them over looked it.

i made 239.6 whp with 200 wtq on stock pulley, stock injectors, k&n intake, 3" catless dp, bad mab header
an trifecta tune, on a dyno-jet at dyno comp here in az it was about 90 out that day but the shop was about 80 inside place was freezing that was the best out of 3 pulls

If you are concerned about the warantee I would check very carefully before proceeding. Aftermarket warantees can be more restrictive than the original one and the use of any parts that are not oem may void them. Even the gm stage 2 may not pass their restrictions if it was not on the car when it was originally sold.
If there is a lot of time left on the extended warantee and I was worried about keeping it valid I would send the warantee holder a comprehensive list of what I was doing and get a confirmation in writing that I would still have complete warantee coverage. Other option is to just have fun and stop worrying about powertrain part of the warantee. As long as you stick around stage 2ish with a decent tune these engines last a long time. It's usually only the guys who are trying to wring out every last hp that blow up their engines.

I have a question pertaining to this as well. With header,dp with free flow cat, magnaflow cat back exhaust,60s,2.7,h/e and an ottp tune.
What would the gains be if I took it to an actual tune shop near me? There are a couple of places but would it be worth it? Or is a zzp or ottp just a baseline make it drivable tune and they expect you to get a real dyno tune?

My baseline dyno on a dyno jet after those mods and the ottp tune was 238whp and 226tq.
I was disappointed and I'm new to this and was curious if it's a very conservative tune or if that is what I should expect. Or if I get a custom dyno tune from a speed shop if those numbers will increase exponentially?

Well the header was a good start, but the OTTP tune is pretty conservative, and you're probably getting high IAT's with the lack of the dual pass, but at least you have the bigger heat exchanger... I'd figure you could do a little better than 238whp with a custom tune, but I would expect go more than 250whp though.

So with a custome dyno tune. It should be 240-250?
I'm planning on the option B and dual pass. I might do others I live in Wisconsin and it's pretty cool here.
Iat2 with a snap on scanner when driving normal to heavy were never over 40° difference of IAT in waiting for an Aeroforce gauge too.

I'm also far from done. When I get into something I seem to go all in. But I don't have much knowledge on building motors how much they can take. If speed shops near me who deal with V8s and motors like that,if I had them port/polish,cams, and all that kind of stuff. If with our cars vs hemi,LTs if it's all the same?( an engine is an engine) now I'm nervous and wana buy the dual pass and option B. What sucks is a lot of these after market parts have no instructions or diagrams. ( hose routes ect.) should I get a Wideband?

Now I'm all worried and have anxiety about this 2.7 pulley. If I get a customs tune can they read how he valves are reacting using HPTuners? I'll be putting a wide band dual pass and option B on. But ZZP says for a 2.7 you need cams and valves. Should I go to a 2.9 instead?

an sc pulley does not affect the valves whatsoever. this is the second time i have read something like this and it is pure nonsense. maybe they said it would be beneficial to have cams and springs, but by no means necessary. i dont see much reason to go to aftermarket valves either, unless you want over sized valves to match a ported head
