its normal. your throttle IS going 100%, your HP is just not reading the correct %

there is a fix posted in the HPT forums.

same here 88% full throttle. Been told its normal I just copied the HPT cfg file for the Cobaltss. Some day I'll look at the calculation they used but I'm pretty sure it's not a logrithmic curve, probably a linear +12 to all readings.

the IDC% is what really pissed me off, the average of 2 pulse-width banks when my car only has one resulting in half of the IDC that i was really running. Its good to either take note or check and recalculate some of the stock PID's they set in there to make sure you're getting full accuracy when logging.

take off the intake going to the throttlebody, turn the car to ON not run. Mash the gas and see that the throttle body is wide open. read the TPS% value on hp tuners and see that its 80 or 88.

proof that you are getting WOT

And the answer is to read our stickies http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5573

GM changed the way they interpret throttle position on most late model ETC vehicles so you need to log the ETC Position PID in the scanner rather than TPS(SAE)

Darkmanx, I have a 2.4 TB on my 2.2 and get the same thing. If you mash the gas while off it will jump back down to like 2-6%

So apparently it's normal.

I'm reading mine off of a DashHawk.

ETC controls your idle so yes your throttle blade will be slightly open so your vehicle doesn't stall
