Hello. I recently purchase an 07 ss supercharged that was modded from the previous owner. I know he put some ZZP stage 3 stuff on it as well as a new exhaust header, cai, smaller pulley, and borla exhaust. The car always runs rich with black smoke coming out of the exhaust. I was just curious how to tell if the car had other mods and if it was even tuned properly. The previous owner I ran into once and he was the one who told me he had a few stage 3 zzp mods on it.

Any input is appreciated.

Well i'd say there is a bit of an issue somewhere causing the black smoke/running rich. Wether that is the tune, or a mechanical part, hard to say. Going to have to get someone to pull the tune off the car and check over it.
