I'm on Progress springs. Mine seem to sit higher than some progress springs do though. I have seen a Cobalt with almost no wheel gap on Progress springs, so their manufacturing tolerances must not be very strict. Either that or they revised their design at some point.
You won't sit any higher if you pick the right tires. My 235/35/19 Nitto Invo's are actually .1" smaller in diameter than the stock 215/45/18's.

Oh alright, what are the odds of you being on the same spring... lol
So no rubbing issues with those then?
And do they perform as well as 18's when taking corners and such or is there a slight loss in performance with the smaller tire?
Sorry if you've covered this already, just alot of pages to go through.
Thanks

It corners really well. My 19's with tires weigh the same as the stock 18's with tires, so acceleration and braking performance is still pretty good. If you can find 19's that weigh less than 25lbs each, you will be good. Mine weigh 45lbs with the tire and I think the tires are 22-23lbs each. I actually have a 5/8" shim under my rear springs to lift the back end a bit because I have a bit of added weight in the form of stereo equipment in the trunk. If I didn't have those, my rear tires may rub on the fenders if I hit a big bump. My wheels are 8.5" wide, so I wouldn't want anything less than a 235. Some people run 225's on 8.5" wheels, but I would want an 8" rim with 225's. You wouldn't have to worry about rubbing with 225/35/19's.

I went with 235/35/19 Nitto Invo's. My wheels are 8.5" wide. I would actually like to get 245/35's next time around. I think I can get away with it without rubbing.

Do you want to buy my 235/35/19 Nitto Invo's so I can get 245's? I have 8.5" wide wheels. 235's would be perfect on 8" wheels. Where in Ontario are you?
