08 Cobalt SS Dyno by RAGE

Well its a cool 98 degrees in the shop today with 80% humidity. Brian aka Sherm420 on this forum drove across state to us this morning to throw his 08 cobalt ss on the dyno for some baselines and have a little weekend vacation on Miami beach.

After strapping it on the rollers this is what we got.

3rd Gear pull

4th Gear pull

It was dynoed on a in-ground Dynojet dyno. We're at sea level, 98 degrees, and 80% humidity. Check back here later this weekend for the vids.

We took alot of measurements and pictures of various things on the car. We are going to be working with Brian in the near future once we get some parts developed.

haha didnt even catch that... in that case those SS/TCs are alot slower then i thought.

i dynoed 233/211 on a mustang dyno, dynojet conversion of 1.12 would be 260/239

We are working on some suspension mods for the ss/sc to get rid of wheel hop. Also a heat ex. kit and some other various things.

Now that several TCs have been dynod it seems very consistant to be about 240WHP and around 240-260 torque. Torque seemed a bit low on this run, it must have been because of the heat.

thanks man, those are still good numbers. I think the reason synapse got such high tq numbers was because of the dynopack.
