i wouldnt race around there man. i was dumb enough a couple of years back to race there when a million cops came outta nowhere and yea...just think how much trouble i got in after that lol. theres alot of houses and people walking etc around these areas specially afterschool. just take it somewhere else like 8 street which isnt too far, and its a wide open road. just saying...

U should take a 370 without too much trouble.. but it's probably a driver's race anyways.. and as for racing other cars.. why even ask? Just go do it.. ppl were always wanting to race me in my 5.0 mustang back in 1990 and I'd oblige every time. Beat up on alot of **** that had lotsa money in it too... only time I lost was to, I'm guessing.. a 10 second Comet with NoS.. he denied he had it, but u could tell the engine was retarded until he hit the laughing gas and then it came alive. Stayed neck n neck with a 454 Vette 4-spd up to 130 mph and beatdown an old El camino with $10k in the motor.. maybe half a car there.. but as Vin says.. "Ask any racer. It don't matter if you win by a fender, or by a mile.. winnin's winnin'!" As for my main competition.. Camaro's.. I won't even bother wasting space for those lead sleds; converted one guy into buying a mustang with a simple race where he thought he'd destroy me.. a week later he was driving a 5.0 vert lol I coulda pulled him in just 2 gears.. that bad..
There was an old 68 Firebird that I wouldn't even try tho lol.. it was 10 seconds at the very slowest possible figure.. HUGE meats on the back, narrowed rear end with lightning rod shifters, 454 done up to the nuts with a blower, and NoS for if that ever failed lolz.. buddy of mine tried him and he didn't even know he was racing him.. then he hit the gas for a second or two and blew by like he was sittin still...
****.. now I'm telling stories to kids.. I must be getting old... gonna go sleep and dream of the good ole days rofl
Go kick his ass kid!!

just my input my ex gf had a g37 which has the same engine and similar performance #s and from a 40 roll i would have about 2 cars on her. i have an ss/sc with full bolt ons and a 2.8 pully. i know the Z is faster but a ss/tc with a good tune should have no problem

Run it out to 120 and you'll beat him. I ran one a few months ago when my trifecta tune was crap so it was prob close to the same amt of power as you and hung right with him when I let him get the jump. Unfortunately an Impala was in the way so I backed off as the guy in the 370z kept going. Get some 100 octane and you'll put a hurtin on him bad tho. Made my car run amazing when the tune was crap so I can't imagine what it'd do for you since I haven't gotten any lately.
