LMAO....Honda is not quality. I traded in my 06 Si for the SS and the SS is much better, especially the interior. The alcantra interior wears fast and discolors, the plastic scratches even if you blow on it. That thing had so many rattles I can't tell ya. Honda may have been quality in the past, but not anymore. AND it wasn't fast.

The Si is only slightly faster than the Mazda Miata MX-5, which is much much much slower than the SS/TC even on a road course.

Yep, my Si was not impressive at all. My SS/TC is 1000x better in all areas you can think of, including quality. Even the paint is better.

I find this surprising. Ive always heard Hondas were top notch in quality, but then again I have no first hand experience with them. I do love my Cobalt. The new TC seems so much more refined compared to the 2.4. Interesting isnt it?

My family has always owned Hondas and they've been virtually indestructible. My parent's Odyssey with 160,000km on it (100,000mi) feels more solid and put together today than my SS/TC did the day I rolled it off the lot. It still drives like it's brand new despite being absolutely hammered on for every one of those 100k miles; be it my mom slamming into every single pothole on the road, 3 kids learning to drive on it, or my dad and I using it like a pickup, it takes it all.

This sentiment is echoed by almost all Honda owners I know. That being said, I respect Hondas, I don't love them. I don't see myself ever owning one.

...And as for the paint, really? My TC has terrible paint

Rattled on day 1. The rear window defroster has like two resistors on either side where the current goes through the glass. These have rectangular covers that just rattle incessantly. I was going to just put some scotch tape over them to hold them in place. Anyone have a better idea?

A dab of silicone or goop to hold it in place

It depends on how much you use the subs.

I now have a bonking from the passenger side whenever the chassis twists a little like when backing out of a drive way or going over road imperfections. It's not the suspension. It seriously sounds like a bolt used to hold a body panel to the frame is loose. Taking to the dealer. I swear the workers who put my car together were high.

3,900 miles. Nothing except my license plate rattling on my windshield. I really need to get my front plate mount put on.

I don't mind winter rattles as much as the suspension creak...ugh that's utterly embarrassing, worse than the squealing brakes.
