09 SS/TC Low Rise To High Rise
I was wondering if anyone knows if it is a direct swap to remove my low rise spoiler and install the stock high rise without having to drill any holes or change anything ? After hating the high rise on my old 06 lsj. I now miss it the high rise and hate the looks of the low rise.

Yeah really. I removed the screws on mine and I lifted up on the spoiler and it didn't even budge. It's like it was also held on by glue or something too. So I just stopped. It felt like it was going to tear my trunk off first or ruin the paint when it did come off. Am I missing something ? Or did I miss some hidden screws. I think there was 2 on each side.

i forget the method i used to take my low rise off,but my friend had a high rise wing and did exactly what you did but he bent the **** out of his trunk. he had to send it off to a body shop to have it fixed.
it is a bitch to get off though. i did mine in the middle of summer so it was hot and humid out and that may have played a big part in mine coming off some what easily.

Someone made a basketball sized dent last year in my trunk... So I removed it and replaced it with a trunk off a tc with. Low rise.. and removing the low rise was easy...... To remove the high rise off the sented trunk in the other hand... Was a pain in the ass..... I had to use a knife and bunch of elbow grease and actually took me like 30 mins of hardcore workout

You need patience, a strong piece of fishing line, leather gloves and warm day and/or hair dryer. A heat gun works well, but you better use the low heat setting or you're asking for trouble. Once you get it off, now comes the fun part. Cleaning up the residue glue!
Be sure to use fresh 2 sided tape when you install, otherwise it's gonna rattle.

Use a heat gun to remove the low rise. It'll allow you to life it off easier. Do one side at a time though. I'm in the process of painting a high rise to put on mine. Just needs to get warmer.
