A friend of mine got a tune on his car from a HP Tunner tune and he got the No lift shift put in his car. I was rideing with him last night and he showed me when he steps on it he dont have to take his foot off the gas cause the rev limitor is droped back to about 4000 RPMs. It made for quicker shifts but I dontno if I would want the rev limitor to be 4000.

In HPT you can set the fuel cutoff in nuetral to 4000RPM. I know you can at least do it on the LE5, I haven't looked into it on the LSJ yet, though...

the reconfigureable display is prolly the mock ups. it will be a palm pilot sized display located on the A-pillar where the boost guage is now. I think gm is keeping an eye on what we do to our cars in my opinion. Looks an awful lot like an interceptor setup from the factory....... I'm waiting on a call back from GM tuner source to get more info. I'll post more of the email if you guys want it. it's a 7mb powerpoint of sales materials. i just used the highlights of the new stuff. I missed the GM conference video this afternoon.

Don't worry about it. W/ syncos, you don't need to do it anyways. Just shift like normal people and everything will be fine. Before syncros, people used to have to double clutch while downshifting to help match engine rpms...
