2008 Cobalt SS Turbo

Whats up guys, I just bought my first ss, Bone stock only has 44k Miles on it, And i was wondering what would be good to do with this car

1. Exaust: ZZP 3inch down pipe into a converter, should i straight pipe it or buy a cat back system

2. Inatke: AEM Polished Air Intake + mass air flow sensor

3: Intercooler Piping: Injen piping

I want to a put an hks bov on it but im not sure what all i will need

Can some members give me some tips? Thanks

Also im gonna get it tuned

1 catless DP no cat back, stock is plenty until big turbo and sounds great

2 zzp Hahn or k&n

3 injen is junk unless you get the longer couplers which are another 50 bucks. Get something better

4 stock turbo with BOV is a big no no. Car hates em and it's a huge loss of power.

With no tune, all these mods will eventually throw codes and or you'll lose power. Plan to do it all right or leave it stock. Hope that helps haha

Not sure where you heard Injen doesn't fit, mine went on fine right out of the box.

You do not lose power with a BOV.

Yes how do u loose power with a bov? If u do it right it works just fine. Even with the crap ecp tune from trifecta it worked fine, just the car didn't cause the tune sucks

1. OTTP DP w/ no cat and add the $20 angled rear bung. Keep stock exhaust.
OTTP LNF Down Pipe

2. K&N Short Ram Intake.

3. Many options here. I have Injen and it is great. Good fit; easy install.

HKS. You need to weld the HKS aluminum flange to the upper charge pipe. You need a stock BPV block off plate. You need a new lower charge pipe with a MAF relocatation (OTTP stocks this as well). You need to open the wire harness and pull out enough wire for the MAF to reach its new location in the OTTP charge pipe. Block off plate for the stock MAF location in the intake. Lastly, you MUST, MUST get a tune for this. IMMEDIATELY.
