I think I saw a 2010 SS/TC in the parking lot at work today. It was black, with full black interor, RPD, USB port, aero wing spoiler, but I noticed the shift knob was kind of weird. The black bezel around the shiny metal shift pattern was shiny black. I remember mine as being a matte finish.

I looked at the rear tires and it was rather worn, so I think it might be someone's 2010 that is being beaten on, or a 2009 that has a lot of miles and an aftermarket shift knob?

I noticed even treadwear on the rear and front. My 2009's rear tires are only wearing in the center of the tread at the specified 33 psi.

 

From the pics ive seen isnt the radio is black? I think they all have rpd and the usbport...

 

+ all have sunroofs

 

The only interior color is black on black now ....thats news to me anyway. There's no Hirise option just the standard low pro spoiler. The only real option's i see are LSD and ashtray except for dealer installed stuff. Here is the link to changes for 2010

The side curtain airbags issue is kinda surprising though. Unless that becomes part of the basic code of the vehicle (standard airbags)?

I read in the paper that the cruze replaced the ss/tc in 2010? Correct me if i am wrong but my car came from the plant in lordstown ohio. Thats were many were produced to my knowledge. and that plant was slowed down laid off alot of ppl and re did the lines and got them ready to assemble the new gay chevy cruze. Personally the cruze looks like **** not happy with that car replacing the cobalt.

 

The Cruze is replacing the Cobalt eventually. There will still be an SS/TC for 2010 but only a coupe. Sedan SS's are now toast. I believe this is the last year for the Cobalt and that production of them actually ends at the end of 2009.

As for a replacement for the SS, there isn't one planned. The Cruze has nothing in the works for a performance model at this time.

Not really, it's replaced by "Crystal Red Metallic Tintcoat" which is pretty much the same.

 

the sport red is more of a maroonish red. the crystal red is just a tad darker than the victory red.

 

Does anybody know what the black granite metallic color looks like?

 

I'm sure it looks amazing. I wanted a dark gray when I purchased mine, but apparently they did not exist at the time :-(

Ya, I hate the black because it's so hard to keep up. I have to wax this thing everytime I wash it. It's really frustrating. It water-spots so easily

 

Can't believe they ditched yellow too. There's just always been yellow Cavy's and Cobalts.

 

That color is already available on the Malibu so go up to your nearest dealer and scope one out that's in that color. It is an AWESOME color if you haven't already seen it.

 

That would be nice if a metallic black would make it to the SS but it won't!

 

These are the Colors for the SS/TC in 2010. No Black granite . My wifes Malibu is Blk granite and looks amazing when it's clean and in the sun. It almost changes color's in different sunlight.

Ok i found the avalible ordering options for the 2010 SS/TC ......ONLY 2 options from the factory...... ASHTRAY and LSD LOL. So when you go to order your 2010 SS don't get overwhelmed LOL.



They offer the All weather floor mats and sport pedals as a dealer installed option . The others are emissions and front plate options but a customer has no choice in those .
