Well I just started a thread just like this today.
I am trying to go with all zzp upgrades
Get a zzp cat less downpipe
Hptuned e-47 or e-85
Zzp fmic Zzp charge pipes (LNF upgrade kit)
K&n SRI
Maybe a new clutch
That will get you around 350whp

intercooler kit, downpipe and tune will be 1500.

Get a bigger wallet or rethink your wants.

What car did you have before this?

Also, searching is great since this topic is beat to death.

OP, your power range is so broad that it could be as simple as a tune and downpipe, all the way to a turbo swap. You might want to narrow down exactly what you want. Example: you don't want to have to turbo swap, or you don't want to run e85, or you want a power level safe for the trans, etc.

^This. A tune and a downpipe could get you 300. Is E85 available where you are? Do you have the ability to do a turbo swap or are you just looking for basic bolt-ons? Do you want brand new? The classifieds are littered with used turbo parts to get you where you want to be

If you fully bolt it with a good tune to compensate the mods the car will move to your liking I'm sure

ZZP is always a fan favorite. They have everything you'll ever want and need plus a lot of people sell them on the forums too. HPTuners is the way to go with a tune. BOV is unnecessary unless you are big turbo from my understanding. You get a BOV, you will also have to get a relocate kit which is a new lower charge pipe and MAF extension harness which is just more money out the window if you are trying to keep it a budget build.

K&N Intake ($260), ZZP Upper (Hotside) Charge Pipe ($200), ZZP Intercooler ($350), ZZP Downpipe ($150) and HPTuner prices range big time. So that $960 (without HPTuners) if you buy things brand new...

I bought a used ZZP catted down pipe for $200, a new ZZP intercooler for $350, HPTuners for $430, an ECM for $130, 3bar MAPs and pigtails for $260, and a tune for $200. For $1520, I made 305/330. On E47(another $200 for a tune,) I made more. I didn't get a dyno for that one, but my butt dyno was happy. The E47 was kind of a pain in the ass, though, so if you want something fun to play with, just stick to the regular old gas tune.

Also, you don't absolutely need the 3 bar sensors, so you can eliminate those. The intercooler makes you no power, but you'll pop your stock IC on higher boost. I have been running stock IC piping for 6 years, so don't let anyone tell you that you need the aftermarket pipes. You won't have to buy an ECM either, if you don't mind using your original.

I'm a 43 year old guy and have kept most things conservative on this car, which means I haven't broken anything. This car has been a lot of fun. Just get a good tuner, keep your rev limit stock, and don't NLS. You'll be happy for years and pissing off WRX owners left and right.

Hahn intake blows. I had it and hated it and in my opinion you are better off with HPTuners than buying a tuned ECM

You technically don't even need HPTuners. As long as you can find someone near you who has it...you're fine

Guys hahn has switched all piping to aluminum now. So it may be better. But still don't get their intake. U don't want cold air intake, ull have wet filter issues . Plus u can't bolt hahns down good. .
