Aftermarket turbo/exhaust manifold install question?
Can a aftermarket turbo and exhaust manifold be installed with the engine still mounted in the car?? Or does it need loosened up to give it room?

With some bigger turbos its easiest to do it from under the car with the subframe out. It should only take 1-2 hrs to remove the sub frame and it frees up a whole lotta space!
To your original question tho, yes, you can do all of this with the motor in the car!

Thanks for the help. Ill prob be buying some stuff this winter and installing early spring. I'm thinking a Garrett gt28 currently, do you have better results with another brand/or size turbo??
