Alright Guys How Bad Do You Think I Did?

pretty much what slow swap said. unless your on slicks you want to avoid the water box completely UNLESS you have slicks and plan on warming them up. go around the water box then as your about to go up to the lights give your tires a quick spin to clean them off. work on your launches a bit aswell and you will see the times go down. good luck.

you guys have it all wrong. the solution is not avoiding the water box, its buying tires that can actually benefit from a big burnout.
OP, its all about practice man. just keep trying

You're also in Oregon, altitude is probably higher too.
If you want the fastest ET's, go to Cecil County Dragway in Maryland. Everyone gets obnoxiously fast ET's there. For example, a stock 2011 Mustang GT will run low 12s with just rear suspension mods at that track. So if you want bragging rights, head over to Cecil.

I wasn't being totally serious!
FWIW, the stock tires aren't that grippy. I have traction issues just driving aggressively. They're decent tires, but for straight line acceleration you want something that sticks better to reduce your traction loss.
Driving when it is cooler (denser oxygen mix in the air) and at a lower altitude also helps a lot.
