Another great 09 SS/TC "review"!
Another great 09 SS/TC "review"!
During our last Solosprint weekend on the Mosport Driver Development Track I asked one of our most respected instructors/competitors to take my Cobalt for a couple laps.
Please note that we had no idea the wife had the camara rolling when he came off the track. She wanted to get that natural response.
I contacted him asking permission to post this, so enjoy.

It's funny how he gets so excited that he gets that high pitched voice... "Holy moly".
This makes me wanna go out right now and drive it... or better yet, take it to a course and put it up against something seemingly better. I've been hearing really great things about it so far on courses and at autocross events.

did you guy's not know the lightning lap was a sedan.. IIRC... i got to drive a coupe and HOLY ****... got to take a serious on camber on ramp at like 40 with NO roll or tire squeek.. I LOVED IT!!!
That has to be the most honest review of the TC I've heard to date...GM should purchase that, pay you, your wife and the driver royalties and make a commercial out of it...the amount of excitement in his voice says it all
!
!
I don't think there was a difference in weight, it looked to be the same. In retrospect, the sedan doors would have made it more convenient for ingress/egress in a tight garage. My SS/TC's doors need more room to open than my Mustang GT.
You can almost feel his passion.
Nice to hear
. This car is such a sleeper- no one gives it much credit til they try it. One of the things that impressed me was how he spoke about how easy it was to drive fast relatively speaking.
