Another Newbie - Yes, I know

Picking up my 2009 Cobalt SS T/C Coupe on Monday - I work for Chevrolet and am turning in my 2007 Hummer H3X for the Cobalt. I am very excited. Anyhow, feel free to say what's up.

Plans are very subtle. Just a lowering kit, debadge, leather and tint to start. More to come.

Cheers!

B. Freedman

You're going leather? Interesting choice. Full seats or just bolsters?

Black and going to do a Black w/ Silver stick and Silver SS badge on headrest. My Hummer is Desert Sun w/ Ebony & Morocco Leather - I like two-tone but am going to keep this as monotone as possible. Doing seat heaters too - should turn out nice.

As far as options, I had to choose the right car to get the most bang for my buck. I get GM Employee Pricing, and then GM is also doing a $1000 rebate for Employees, add in the $2,000 in Consumer Incentives + GM is giving $1000 if the car is old age inventory. The car initially I was interested in was Switchblade Silver, however, I am getting Black with Aero-Wing (not 100% thrilled), Sunroof (must have) and USB Plug Stereo.

I will need help w/ mods - again, being 27, I have to keep it low key. I am going to debadge it first thing, lower and tint probably monday or tuesday, leather should be Friday. I am not going to bring her home from work until she is all done.

Questions...

Exhaust.. Should I just have one maid or buy a pre-made magnaflow/borla?? Best Gains?
Intake... Best for the $$??
Lighting Upgrade?? HID Kit or Better Bulbs... Also, has anyone done LED near license plate and inside?
