Anyone else Impatient???
I don't know how the rest of you, who have ordered the 08 Turbo feel, but I need a reality check. Everybody who ordered one please post date ordered, color, options and if you have been able to find out, the proposed mfg. and delivery date. Seriously, I must be fanatically addicted to Cobalts. I know its all about the fun of anticipation, but I'm way to preoccupied. I think I need a vacation.
April 12, Imperial blue metallic, all standard options, have left 1 voice message and sent 1 email to the dealership already requesting an update. All of you who will probably take delivery by the end of May, make sure you get any incentive money, rebates, or low loan rates available.

idk. originally the rumor was that production would start on april 7th but then there were rumors of delays. i ordered my ss/tc as soon as my dealer would allow me to. i left my info and told them as soon as they were allocated to build this model call me to specify my options and they did so. i would like to say my car would be in the 1st batch off the assembly line but i couldnt say for sure since they havent provided me with a vin number. once you can get a vin on your car that means delivery is just a short time away. i have the same impatient thought you are having ever since i traded in my ss/na and ordered the ss/tc.

no...dealers around here suck and wouldn't budge cause they say they didn't have to cause every car being made for the area was being sold prior to build. AKA "they're gonna sell anyways so why should we give you money off". Damn ********

your dealer is a jerkoff. i would say shop elsewhere but it may be too late to order from another dealer. stuck between a rock and a hard place, that sucks.
yea chevy site is poorly managed, and not so informative. this is probably the best place to get info on the ss/tc. chevy wants to sell you the car but not inform you about it.

why bother making the LSD optional...it should be standard IMO
i just went into my vehicle locator on gmdealerworld and searched for any T/C's that have been produced and i got 0 within a 2500 mile radius...i do see a whole bunch around here that have been ordered...nutley chevrolet is getting 2 while most of the other dealerships are only getting 1 and they all say retail stock not retail sold

on his model lsd should be standard IMO as well. i know my dealership had mine and one other allocated to them because i know the other guy that ordered it. salesman would make a lot more money if they actually knew hwat they were talking about.

You might want to go up and ask if you can go for the ride when the tech test drives it, i work at a dealer and some of these guys test drive vehicles like they stole them. Better safe then sorry, i just like to cruise in them see how good of gas mileage they get. Just a suggestion

First time posting, just registered recently. Ordered mine today. Black, black/gray interior and LSD as the only option. Was told up to 6 weeks for delivery. I'm psyched.

Exactly, i think the wait will be way worth it, just think about it when you get it you will be the first on the block for sure, so it is all good.
