Autocross or big turbo and big power?
Can't decide weather I want to make my car into an autocross machine or a big turbo car...any help or comments will be greatly appreciated !!!
I think autocross is much more satisfying overall, you really push the car to its limits. You have to tweak every part of the suspension to get the best times.
Big turbos only give you a rush for the small period of time you're hard in the throttle. The rest of the time, they're just lagging.

Keep in mind with autoX you have to be careful with your mods. It is real easy to get put in a class that is really hard to compete with just a few mods. Road racing is where it is at if you have a track that is close to you.
Depends. Do you actually plan on autoxing your car? I don't have any aspirations of ever really doing that, so I myself would go all power to create a highway beast, and be a v8 killer.
That's just me. It's completely up to what you are more interested in.

I say go Auto-X for sure (that's what I'm doing) making a FWD Car fast in a straight line is not the way to go. These cars handle amazing from the factory with just a few tweaks they are a serious contender my sugestions would be (atleast this is what I'm doing):
Sticky 235/40/18 Tires on some wider wheels (I have the Enkei EKM3's)
Pedders Springs
OTTP Rack Spacers
OTTP Control Arm Bushings
Transmission Mounts
Rear Sway Bar
Tune (GMS1 or a mild Trifecta/HP)
With those mods and some skill the SS/TC can be incredible on an autocross track and if you want to get more serious you can always get coil overs, lightweight wheels wrapped in R Compound Tires, full bolt-ons......

If you choose to AutoX definitely stay as close to stock D class as you can, because the 'balt shines in that class. I think the choice comes down to how often you'd actually autoX. If you are going to autoX at least once a month, it is worth it to specialize your car for it, but if it is less than that then you should consider it a hobby and go big turbo. Just go autoX for the fun of it with your big turbo and enjoy the big turbo as a DD for whenever you want to get on it.
And if you are really, really serious about autoX, then the supercharger (nolag) is the way to go...

Hmmmm this is honestly hard to answer. I just did autox for the first time this past weekend, and i had an absolute blast. Didnt compete or anything, just for fun. I was really suprised how much fun it was. Drag racing has become kinda a whatever thing to a certain extent, but then agian i think i would feel the same way after autoxing for awhile. Whichever way you go i bet youll love it for sure. Mabey go for
both!!!
