average time on GMS1

average time on GMS1

hey guys took my car into the dealership..talked to my buddy who works there and a guy that hasn't done the upgrade is working on it...its been in there fore about 5 hours how long it take you guys to get it done

isn't just a map sensor tune and a sticker ?
i hope they don't charge you 5+ hrs.

took mine 2 1/2 hrs. where i took mine hadnt done a cobalt only hhrs but after i looked at it should be all the hard to do

Maybe they made a mistake and replaced the motor with a 2.2 NA.

Mine was at the dealer for 4 but they charged me for 2.5 hours. Mine was their first.

Mine was at Huffines in Lewisville, TX for 8 hours. The service techs said that they had a problem getting the O-Rings to properly install. Said they went through three of them trying to get it on.

Only charged for 1.5 hrs though.

just got mine done.. 210 for installation and they ordered a recall part and resurfaced my rotors or whatever its called

5 hours....is he charging you for ******* lunch? Mine, which was the first EVER done in SW Ontario took 2.2 for christ take, and that included time to solder the joints and heatshrink instead of simply crimping/heatshrink.

Your buddy is taking you for a ride...

.....these guys are trained to do this right? All they had to do was clip the green one, lubricate the blue one and GENTLY pull it over the end of the sensor. Where's the facepalm emoticon what a ******* joke. They broke it 'cause they rammed it, this isn't rocket science, at least they only charged you for legitimate time spent.

hey guys got my stage 1 put on today and i'm not totally sure about the whole boost levels with this but it figured like in first gear my car struggles alot more than the rest of the time to spool up is that how the stage kit is programmed

Torque is heavily managed in 1st gear, but I suppose that depends on what you mean by "struggles"

Just seems like it takes longer for it to spool up I figured it was just the tune but better to check with guys on here that have it thanks guys
