better interior?

I know the ss/sc has a lot of interior rattles and vibrations. I was wondering if the ss/tc has improved the interior build quality.

Interior feels a little more tight... not sure how it will last. My buddy's 09 WRX has rattles a;ready as well.... rattles affect all types of cars. Easy to fix, but a pain in arze

aside from sticking different seats in (and a short throw shifter), I think the interior is the same, minus different badging. Mine has 19xx miles and also has some slight rattles/noise. I'm not impressed with the build quality of the interior. However, I think if you were to spend the same amount of money on a different car, the interior probably wouldn't be too much better (and the performance would be a lot worse!)

i understand that it is an econobox but still fit and finish is about attention to detail and as customers we should get the best money can buy. Japan has always been attentive to fit and finish. I think my next car is going to be a 2005 Lexus IS300. Less horsepower, yes, but no haveing to spend money on the interior i can devote to making the I-6 a beast. My point is that asking for a rattle free car is not a lot to ask. If a car company cares about customers they would give us a decent interior. They always make a huge profit on cars so why not cut into a tiny bit of those profits in return for long time returning customers that crave quality. ok lol end rant.

It's all econo cars guys. I have my 08 Civic Si I'm trying to get out of for a new cobalt or WRX and it's a complete rattle box. I've probably brought it in to fix 10-15 rattles by now in the year I've owned it. I've given up trying to fight them now

I must be lucky, i have 25K miles on my car and it doesn't rattle . I had to hunt down a couple in the last 2 years but all is good now. The TC's interior hasn't changed much from the SC cars but even in some reviews ive seen the reviewers say its OK and generally go easy on it .

It's funny but when the SC reviews were written the same mag's bashed the **** out of it, even so much as to place it low on a performance review because the interior was so bad when the performance numbers were better than most of the other cars lol.

The seats are different, but that is all.

Any SS/TC owner you hear saying "well, my interior doesn't rattle" just hasn't owned their car long enough.

My interior seemed well built when I first bought my car, too.

It's a cheap, bargain-basement interior, one of the worst in the category. If you can accept that, you'll be happy.

shows you that rattles can strike any car to varying degrees.. I just traded in my 06 Civic Si for an 08 SS/TC and the Si had exactly zero rattles in the 30,000 miles I drove it.

Meanwhile, my SS is just about to roll 500 miles and I've already heard a buzzing of some kind from the center console..

X2. My car has a very loud annoying rattle coming from the rear seat area.

After installing tint I noticed some stuff wasnt seated as good as it was factory so not fixed..

Open door panels -
Insert DynaMat Or similiar sound dampening material
Install door panels

ENJOY a calm and soothing cabin..

I have done this to a lot of econo-cars..

For outside noise reduction and better acoustics throughout the car.
