the only thing im not really understanding with all this is why the hell cant the car be ""tuned"" to run atmosphericly, but yet there are people out there running it atmospheric with NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER... so, which is it lol... the LNF aint the only setup ever to have this issue, and everybody tends to work around it just fine...

^x2. I got tuned with it atmospheric and my buddy got tuned at the same place and he's completely stock and has the same problem when NLS'ing. Only thing is when I got tuned i didnt get a Air-Fuel ratio. I dont think they fucked with it too much but still if im running rich im running rich. He was having problems getting a good tach signal b/c of direct injection and that kinda fucked up the dyno graph and ****. but i think im gonna go back there after i run it recirc and if it dont work im gonna be like "look dude, you gotta fix this b4 i foul spark plugs." there a SICK shop. I mean they tuned Z06's, twin turbo'd vipers, supercharged an Astin Martin, they do good work. They should hook me up especially since they sponsor my car club

yeah, good deal, im not a genious or anything but i would say with some mods to the whole ignition system you could get rid of that rich problem caused by an atmospheric setup... there has to be a easy way to burn up that fuel or just flat out have it not deliver at that certain point...

If you really want to run a bov without any hiccups at all, install the maf sensor after the bov and modify the maf tables to the correct diameter of the pipe and vent all day long. This is what majority of people do, the rest simply pop a bov in and hope that it runs well.

You cant tune for an atmospheric bov when the maf is before it because there's no parameters in the ecm that allow you to have an air leak during a shift or throttle lift, that's where most of the hiccups are. Once you move the maf after the bov there's no more air leaks when the bov opens, so all your problems are gone.

Yes it can actually!

People usually do this so an atmospheric BOV won't make a difference as far as affecting the MAF.

Just remember to recalibrate the MAF based on the size of piping and any flow differences.

Please don't tell me your 14.0 pass was with the S20 turbo? At a sea level track even?

If you an 08-09 SS then you already have K04, may I suggest looking at a GT28RS.

Yup i have this done, you just need someone to make a maf flange(btf can do it for you) and weld it after the bov, then some minor adjustments with hptuners are needed.

all my pipes are Dejon. Ordered a greddy RS and ordered the recirc tube but it never came with **** in the box. my buddy got the little recirc adaptor on his and just gave it to me. I imagine theres only 1 size since the BOV outlet is a set size. My dejon intake recirc tube is actually maybe 1/8" smaller than the BOV. I imagine if you find some heater hose to fit on the BOV you can probobly worm drive clamp it on the intake tube. Problem is the BOV is a very difficult size to find. Dont know the exact measurments, the guy in autozone went out there with a tape measure to see. The size smaller they have is much smaller, and the size bigger is much bigger. Honda specialist said if autozone didnt have it they dont either. Said they carry only like the standard sizes or something. Showed him the cap that fits over my intake recirc tube and he assured me he doesnt have that size.

The flange gets welded into the pipe, the maf is held on with the 2 screws.

What was your trap speed? I hope it was at least 111 mph.

Well went to national Speed and they didnt have the size. It was 1"1/4 for BOV and 1" for intake inlet. Went to a different autozone and gave the guy the recirc piece off the BOV and he found some hose that fit. Then we shoved some 1" hose into the 1"1/4 hose and it fit snug. Got it hooked up and running well. Not all that pretty but it serves its purpose. Wanna paint the worm drive clamps black or red or something.

I have the Dejon Upper Piping with a HKS SSQV installed on my SS/TC. And the only other "power" mod that I have is a K&N Drop-In Air Filter. And my car has no trouble running whatsoever. I do not have a Block Off Plate. It runs like brand new, except my boost comes on quicker, and smoother, and it holds sooo much smoother!! It was sooooo worth it.

Oh, and it goes PSSSSHHHHHH.
