I am going to put the stock BPV in tonight. I think I found all of the pieces for it in the trunk of the car lol.
That dejon spring is just way too stiff. It was one of my first mods. I took it out because it caused way too much flutter.

The stock BPV only has 3 parts: cap, spring, and rubber diaphram. If you can't find all the parts, let me know. I still have my stocker collecting dust

I had a bad bpv solenoid. My car's symptoms were 7 PSI Max and a really weird whistling noise. I believe the bpv was being held open by the vac tank. Another weird thing is that if the car sat for 2 days would make boost again for a while I think vac tank would blead out. Never popped a code. Hope it helps good luck with your builds.
