C&D TC Top Speed: Coupe 146mph/Sedan 156mph ... HUH?
Since C&D makes adjustments for weather conditions and does opposite direction runs to cancel out the effects of wind ...
What is going on with the diff in Top Speed between the sedan and coupe?
2008 TC Coupe:

2009 TC Sedan:

The coupe has the Hi-Pro spoiler, and the sedan only comes with the Lo-Rise type.
But the Hi-Pro certainly can't be robbing a full 10mph off Top Speed. What gives?

Ive hit 155 so many times lol, not any time recently tho, but ya I hade teh high rise, and Im sure I did it when I was slightly modded. I dont see any reason why the T/C coupe couldnt hit its max, since it is more powerful then my car was when I had just an intake.

These cars are drag limited. there is no fuel cut or speed limiter
well ya, maybe his speedo was off, but I hit 155 in 5th, and the fuel cut off. Like I got to like 146 in 4th, and switched to 5th, and made it up to 155 before I hit the fuel cutoff.

Road and track and GM both state 160mph, but I believe that the high rise may cut up to 10mph off of that mine flexes like crazy at speeds over 90mph. I dont know about the top speed of my t/c though because I have never had it above 115mph.

It for sure creates downforce at high speeds.
