Car is running great!

Ok.. it seems like all I see are threads about how "part X just snapped on my STOCK car!", or "part Y just broke again!" It's starting to depress me.. lets try a different thread.

Who has an '08-'10 SS/TC that has been running fine with no problems? List your year/mileage/mods:

my '09 Sedan just passed 12,000 miles with zero issues.. only mods are springs.

09 Just went over 14K( bought it feb 16th this year with 35 miles)
No big problems, just the hotside pipe doesn't stay on, new rear brakes at 7.5K, a new purge sol, and a shift linkage adjustment
It runs hard, i love it

I'll hit 29,000 miles this week.
08 ss/tc
23psi trifecta tuned for the last 12000 or so miles
Dejon intake and full chargepiping
lowered on SSC springs
Muffler Delete.

Only thing I've had looked at was the rear brakes, they resurfaced the rotors and installed new pads.

Zero other issues. I also am sick of all these threads about broken cars, 99% of which are caused by hard driving or driver error....

08 ss/tc

26k miles - 28psi of boost

The hp tune has been on the car for 16k miles and "pill mod" for 5k miles.

Other than rear breaks and steering columns the car runs like a top.

I'm knocking on wood right now also.

I beat the ever loving hell out of mine in road racing AND I daily drive it. 23K miles, 3rd set of brakes all the way around with rotors, 5ths set of tires, newish shift linkage, solid mount shifter with custom bushings made in house, new engine due to probable high EGT and/or slag in the intake manifold getting sucked through. New clutch, though that wasn't particularly NEEDED. 3rd set of CABs, 3rd set of trans/engine mounts (now poly).

My car lives a similar life Top Gear's "Reasonably Priced Car" lives...except I drive it day after day. Is it worth it? You fracking right it is, even if it pisses me off.

09 ss/tc. 25,580 miles. Dealer replaced the rear brakes at 13k miles under warranty. Didn't even ask them to. Dropped it off for an oil change got it back with new brakes. No charge.

No other issues.

I beat on mine, just no real launching except the track. I raced from a dig last night for the first time since march

I am a little curious... are there any '08's out there with low miles still? Mine is sitting at 6800 miles right now so I can't really comment on reliability yet...

Only problems rear brakes at 18k and rear window doesn't roll down , do have the oil leaks and the other common problems but its bolted and tuned so big deal not like anything life altering right now ..

Runs great , same car as the op , they built these silver sedans with pride

Sorry... My car is a daily driver, year round, in snowstorms, whatever. It's also been from here to Ohio and back as well as here to Maryland and back several times...

90% of the problems are caused by the driver. These cars are fine for what you pay for them.
