Just put the catless dp on yesterday. wow i love the sound. i also noticed there wasnt any gaskets on either end of the dp when i removed the stock one? anyone else have one?

 

no gaskets needed. use the stock stuff.

There was a gasket on the rear flange of the stock downpipe. I reused it on my cat-less.

There was nothing on the turbo flange. Been on for a month or so now and sounds great.

 

haha, I just put my catless DP on yesterday as well (from CIA). The thing is LOUDDD now! I have the muffler delete as well. I'll be putting my muffler back on. Too much for my tastes.

I put the DP and CP on at the same time. I was pushing 17psi in 60 degree weather with 0% humidity. This thing MOVES. Now for the learn down to kick back in

It's alright though, I'm getting tuned tomorrow!

 

Once you get tuned make sure you're wearing a baby bib cause your jaw will hit your lap lol.

yeah if you have it in like 2nd at like 2000rpms and give it gas and let off it makes a very loud sound hahaha my dad and brother were in my dads mustang with exhaust and they were like damn that things loud!

 

ive never heard an exhaust like mine. i cant tell if its good or bad. all my friends say its great though

 

yeah its definitely unique, just like the other cars wrx, evo, etc they all have their own sound......

 

very true. ive heard the lsjs with it and it sounds crazy raspy and i didnt like that. im glad mine doesnt sound like that

 

yeah me too i dont like the raspy sound of a 4 cylinder....... but the turbo acts as its own muffler......... so you dont have to worry about that.

put my muffler back on today. Quieter at WOT and the vibrations went away. I felt like I was in a .25 cent heart bed. Catless DP and stock catback FTW!

 

Who did you end up going with for the Dp?

do you have any sound clips? i thought about doing this but not sure...... i went with the adm catless.
