Catless dp question

So I've got a catless dp with the angled o2 bung. Haven't looked into installing it yet, but wondering if there is a stock sensor that is on stock dp that will screw into this bung? Or do I need to find a plug that will screw into it? If so anyone know where to get a plug for it? Thanks

picture of angled 02 bung? you should be set if it is threaded.. You just screw it into the downpipe then screw the 02 sensor into the bung.

I could take a pic but it is just a little pipe that is welded into the downpipe at about a 45* angle for an inch or so then it turns and runs parallel with dp. A threaded fitting is welded into the end of it that I assume is for an o2 sensor. What I'm not sure of is this sensor already attached to stock dp or is this bung for an aftermarket sensor like for a wideband gauge.

The stock dp has an O2 sensor in it. Should be able to unscrew it from the stocker and screw it right into this pipe.

This is your stocker, with O2 sensor. Remove the sensor. Put it in the new pipe. Put the pipe on. go faster.....

One other thing, the three inch dp w/o cat looks so much bigger than stock it makes me wonder if it will bolt up to the stock exhaust?

I've no idea what you bought. You didn't post a pic, brand name, model number, nothing. For all I know it's a 3 inch DP for a 72 Chevy Vega.

so

maybe yes. maybe no. If you can give us a little more information as to what you've got in your hand we can certainly give you a better answer.

Well then if it is a ZZP for LNF I can all but guarantee you it'll bolt right in with no issues. They know what they are doing and they have sold a lot of them. Should bolt to the catback with no problems at all.

Have fun with that DP install, I am at the point where I never want to see another one ever again. Lookign at that pic in that post made me sick even. I have taken and put my DP on and off like 10 times literally. I can now do it in like 10 mins after I jack up the car lol. All thanks to good ol' Ohio E-check, CELs and dealerships, oh and the state highway patrol for giving me a fix it ticket for my exhaust which was somehow loud?
