CIA Short Ram Intake
Hey All,
I just got off the phone with CIA and i was told that the Short Ram intake is now for sale. Does anyone have this intake? Pros? Cons? It is priced well at $240. Let me know what you think.
Thanks!

I have the cia sri. I've had it for about 5 months. After getting the new updated boost tables from Vince the elbow started to colapse, the usssual fitment issue of the intake rubbing on the ac line also. I made up a how to a while back on what I did to get better clearance and to reinforce the elbow so it would not colapse but I do not believe it ever got posted. No issues since. And as with any intake on this car fuel trim adjustments are a must! I noticed (by the very unreliable butt dyno) bottom end throttle response is a lot better.

I talked to Aaron at CIA and he is emailing a picture of the "NEW" elbows they include with the SRI kit. I will compare it to the one in the posts you provided above.
**UPDATE**
I gave Aaron from CIA a link to the forum above and showed him some of the known issues with the CIA SRI. I asked him to take pictures of the new Elbow and i was very pleased with the upgrade. They are now using 5ply vs. the old 2ply. I have a link to a image bellow. Let me know what you guys think.
