damned idiots....

so a guy at work claims the car i drive everyday, isn't stock and some one has tampered with it because there is no way my stock turbo hits 15+psi from the factory... yeah ok sure..

on top of that apparently he has some monster DSM 4g63 or something like that non boosted putting down 700+ my ass... mind you it's not even in a car.....

that's the idiot, i mean yeah most stock boosted cars hit under 10psi but that does not mean they can't go over that.. oh and a 22/23psi tune is to much and my k04 won't handle it... says him....

the second guy isn't a idiot, just ill informed.. SRT4N had some fun on the highway, asked me if i was on the stock pulley, now of course i said "yes outside of downpipe its a completely stock turbo system so all my pulleys are stock" i was being a smart ass.... he just didn't know they ever made SS/TC he was quite surprised and said he might be going to Thursday night under the lights at some drag strip and suggested i go also.. i very well might as a last car related oomph before i leave my baby for close to three months....

rant over hah

you are quite right...

i won't lie i don't know the first thing about superchargers... other than changing the pulleys gives you more oomph that's my knowledge on that front

Smaller pulley means more rotations so it produce more boost. I think I got that?

I'll stick to turbo... i don't dislike sc, but imo only specific cars should have them...

id love to have a turbo.

which brings me to, a turbo balt will still have the same traction issues as a sc balt right? even tho they get most their power on the back end....I think?

don't know what the lsj has issues on but i have issues high rpm in first and second, and if its wet out don't go near boost in second hah..

overall the coilovers helped plant the wheels a bit better it seems... one of these days I'll actually get my Powell rotated mount on the damn car....

Yep. It was just a little wet put last night and I was spinning like I had no tread when I gave it just a little throttle.

Your going to get worse traction if you go turbo. More power = more wheel spin.

That stuff pisses me off so much. At the car show our local club went to this weekend, there was some ricer talon a few cars down from us 2-stepping every 5-10mins, then goes to do a grudge run (special for the car show $3 run) and puts down 19sec's in the quarter. Also its held together by duct tape, electrical tape, and automatic... kid was asking like it was king **** all day...
