dejon works fine, im running it. Had a custom recirc fitting put on for my Synapse Engineering BOV. Great guy. Hahn is top quality AKA your going to get what you pay for. But one guy chewed up his turbo from the hahn intake (its believed to be the cause) a metal piece from manufacturing didn't get fully removed so it got sucked into the turbo.

You don't really need a cold air for a turbo car I'd go with Dejon. Your intercooler does the cooling for you

+1. The turbos just gonna heat up any cold air that comes in...hence the purpose of the intercooler. I went with Dejon's SRI and I love it. Its Powdercoated Imperial blue to match my car. The spring upgrade is great too, and only $10!

Bought Dejon SRI...looks and sounds great. I took an old towel and twisted it up to run it through the intake before installation. I did that just to get any loose metal shavings outta the intake. The sound of the turbo is ALOT louder with the Dejon SRI and Dejon BPV spring upgrade.

X2...

Plus there is a reason why GM doesnt put the stock air box, air inlet in the engine bay, GM puts the intake in the wheel well for a reason.

CAI in actual use will result in better power, and a lot more yet, with a tune.

If you just want sound and dont care about performance get a SRI.

What about the issues with the Hahn?

I was hearing about vaccuum leaks and all kinds of other stuff.

The hahn is really nice looking though....

HAHNs intake sucks... SORRY! Dejons short ram or CIA's cold air seem to be the best available at this time!

Good call, I'm assuming you read the thread about the person who's turbo was chewed to **** due to a piece of metal shaving that was in the intake.

I would have been more pissed than he was

Thanks for reminding me BTW. I know CIA's intake won't have that problem, but I'll do it anyways as a precautionary step!

The one and only intake that continuously throws the MAF tables off, plus if you had HP Tuners and could log the flow difference between it and say a short ram it flows like dog crap!

2 cars with indentical tunes... One with the HAHN and mine with the DIY short Ram...

HAHN- 33.1 lb/min MAF reading
MINE- 37.8 lb/min MAF reading

It is one thing to rep products you know and have (which is great to do on ANY brand product), but not trash products you never had yourself.

Also Hahn has been working on/worked on the breather issue and will mail out a fix to anyone who needs it, if you contact them. So other than that, support your statement.
LOL whatever man... And yes I did put one on my car... it lasted 1 dyno run!

That is DEJON's only shortfall so far... is their CRAP couplers. I couldn't keep the charge pipes from blowing off to save my life!

Aaron if I was the ONLY one stating this then sure you could say I was "bashing" but I am not however. I love HAHNs products just don't like the inflated prices and crappy tuner!

Not yet... I am most likely selling the charge pipes for the CIA set. But so far I have v-bands holding them on for now! it doesn't like 25psi
