I used a 1/2" ratchet with a 12-inch extension and a swivel to install my buddy's zzp dp.

Yep, I think I used around 15" of extension and a deep well socket to get those off. 15mm IIRC, not sure though, been a while ago. If you drop the turbo end first it makes the catback flange easier to get the top nut off.

Either lots of lube, bigger wrench or buy a new one.

You can fit a socket in there, you just have to get creative weaving it in to place, and you wont have much travel with it, maybe 10degrees if your lucky, thats enough to get it off though.

I'm not at all trying to be a ball buster so please don't get bent out of shape or jump down my throat, but if you need someone to tell you that you will need to use an extention and swivel adapter and can't figure that one out for yourself....then maybe you really shouldn't be wrenching on your car man.Trust me I understand that every car has a bit of a learning curve, but the fact that you paniced because you couldn't reach a couple of nuts and had to make a post asking for help is just a little disconcerning. Again I'm not trying to be a dick so don't take it the wrong way, I'd just hate to see you causing yourself any un-needed and avoidable headaches and issues. Just keep your cool, sit back for a second and think about it. Sometimes the answer is much simpler than you originally figured.
