sounds pretty straight forward. so all you gotta do is get some good adhesive, take out the head liner, and just apply the color fabric of choice, then reinstall? ive never done it before but im a fast learner. ive been planning on doing this for a while now. still deciding what color i want.

whyumadson's quality is top notch. I am good friends with him and have seen his quality in person. He's a good guy, and has an eye for detail. You will be 100% satisfied with your product.

He did his dash purposely with texture coat to make it look OEM, which is what I prefer. A glossy dash looks gay as fack. IMO. Like a bad show car thats trying to hard to be different

Thanks for the kind word everyone I really appreciate it.

Thee only problem with making the dash flat is the glare would be horendous but I can do it. Just prefer the oem look

Dart si you need a really good upeholestry glue and a special gun which any upholestry shop can supplyou with. Its heavy duty stuff and extremly sticky lol....notice the material. If I posed pics of my aftermarket recaros you would see the material is the same

Its a lot of money but understand its roughly 250-300 in materials and 40-50 hours in labor.... I offer a few options to help keep costs down. If you wanna know pm me.

2-5 weeks to complete once parts arrive and depending how many orders are before yours... all 6 pods I've been making are on there final sanding before paint. And yes I worked on xmas for everyone ha. Ill prob discontinue them. To many people complain because they don't realize the time it takes to make.

A rubberized finish on the dash would be pretty sweet something like on the volvo c30

It is not a complain because I was expecting it the next day, but when I've placed the order, I was told 2-3 weeks, it has been almost 5 now. I understand you are busy with other parts, but an update sometimes would be appreciated, since there are people like me that are basically waiting just on that to be able to install 10 other things. But it's ok, another week eventually is fine, as long as it gets done the right way.

Everyone knows anything custom we make takes time. Guess the message hasnt gotten around to everyone. No one produces them thus why we hand make each one.

yep and no body realizes it. the thing is when you make multiple ones its best to get all the filler work, sanding done on all THEN PAINT. idk what you guys are using for paint but i know for me a quart is 30 bucks...now i dont use a quart but i need to mix a minimum of 6 ounces to get the color right. so if i do more at once it saves money on paint and what not. like he said doing multiple ones at once takes awhile. everone needs to understand that.... mine waits the same....minimum 2 maximum 5 and if theres something reallllly crappy that happens inbetween i contact the buyers to let them know their will be a little more wait.

not entirely correct.....cobalt addiction produces them if they are still around....but like he said here. EVERYY SINGLE ONE IS MADE BY HAND. mine are done the same way. ive seen a bunch of people that make these and let me tell you ive seen it all... the buyhids.com ones and mine are at the top of the list as far as quality goes....ive seen others come hot glued with bondo etc etc...for all of you that dont know normal bondo does not stick to plastic. using it will result in cracking or product failure. ill be getting a slowbalt_06(i think thats the screen name) pod here shortly. apparently it doesnt fit worth crap and its hot glued together......but theres a difference you pay 60 dollars for that being whipped together and you pay more money for ours that will last.

Just please PM me or email me the day you ship it, so I can start making plans with my mechanic to drop off the car. Thanks.
Sorry I'm not busting your bolas, I know we all work, but I would just need an approx day so I can drop off the car, because all the other parts are by my mechanic, and they are tons of boxes, they are all around his garage waiting for me.

Those look good.

How are the gauges secured in the pods? Are there brackets?

Right now I have, waiting to install, the zzp triple pillar pod. where I will put the oil temp, water temp and trans temp. On the dual cluster gauge that I'm waiting for, I will put the pyrometer and the boost press gauge. All of them are Autometer C2.
On the triple dash pod that I want from whyyoumadson, I'm planning to put the Autometer c2 air/fuel wideband, oil press and fuel press

Well I give people the option to send me the gauges and I make I will makr a bracket to secure them in. If they don't they are on their own to secure them in which I here people use duct tape. Thanks for the compliments. All pms replied
