Your fuel pump can't keep up with the demand, I have the same problem, its the midrange rpm's, if ya want I can forward the email from vince, it cuts out around 130-135?

Yeah, really no reason to run straight E85 on our cars.

It's just easier than mixing, but it doesn't work so well, so mixing is certainly better.

You can run straight E85 if you are bones stock. Reason why is because all the aftermarket goodies on vehicles increase the airflow enough to give you problems. The tune is your problem right now. It just needs to be dialed in a little more that's all.

Here is why all card can do different things. Elevation, heat, humidity, mods, ethanol blend, ect and of course engine health.

But have u tested and found that u continue to make more power once u pass around ~50% ethanol? Its always been said that once u pass ~50% ethanol content the gains don't justify the fuel demand. Its just simpler to fill with straight e85

A lot of folks in the Evo and Sti community have come to this very comclusion. Sure it's easier to just fill with straight E. But it's not difficult to fill equal amounts of E and 93 at the pump either...adds maybe 45 seconds tops to the standard fill-up...and since there's no real benefit what-so-ever to running full E besides saving 45 seconds once every week and a half to two weeks...E47 is what I'll run.

If I run E85, and I'm not saying I ever did, I would have been allegedly getting 14MPG and filling up once per week.

You put 5 gallons of E85 in your tank, then move over to the next pump and put 5 gallons of 93 in. At the gas station I have, The E85 pump is actually close enough where you don't have to move..............not that I have ever used E85.
