Falling apart.....
SO went out and got in the car today to find out that there was a inch of water in the passanger floor board... problem #1... Then start it up and it started misfiring due to the factory intercooler cracking last week so i had to hold it at 1/4 throttle till it warmed up so it wouldnt die.... problem #2.... So i decide to log the car to see how bad the fuel trims are and maybe compensate a little to help it run a lil better until the new I/C gets here and notice CEL comes on for thermostat P0128 and car wont get above 169degrees.... problem #3..... not even 3 minutes later CEL for 02 sensor comes up P2237 ugh!!...problem #4..... So at this point im about to just jump it off into the lake when the dash reads service tire right front tire monitor and i lose reading on the right front tire monitor..... problem #5.... FML parked it.
Intercooler crack is prolly the cause of the misfiring on warm up but i decided today was a unlucky day so i parked it before a door falls off going down the freeway or something stupid

I was thinking maybe like 10 gallons and a full tank of gas just to see a bigger explosion. Blow some of the parts back to GM's factory..... then again why waste that much money on gas..
Roof drain clogged due to operator error for parking car outside. IC cracked due to operator running higher boost than IC was designed for. O2 sensor code due to operator trying to drive the car with a giant vacuum leak caused by crack in IC. Tire monitor is the only fault of GM. Quick being lazy and repair the crack in the IC with some epoxy, or park it.

Oh No everyone dont park your cars OUTSIDE! ITS A "OPERATOR ERROR"! no one buy a cobalt if you cant keep it in a garage! and so you know im running 2 psi more than gmstg1 kit pretty sure it wasnt from too much boost... Unless GM designed it that horribly and is pushing their limits that close with a factory option. OH NO everyone DONT raise boost with a FACTORY OPTION cause its a "OPERATOR ERROR" and your IC will crack! I will agree though that the O2 sensor could be from the IC leaking. thats the only thing that i will agree with that little *** bubble for a brain thought up.

You also have charge piping, which means that you installed the piping on the stock IC. That means you probably didn't install the clamps correctly, whick resulted in the aftermarket pipe slipping on the IC during boost. When the chargepiping slips under boost, it pushes the IC forward on the brackets and cracks the tank on the part that faces the bumper. It will be a straight crack from side to side, about here:

The red line is where the chevy dealer near me kept clamping the piping on my IC. This kept resulting in the chargepipe slipping on the IC tube and pushing the IC forward under boost. After the third IC and many arguments from me that they were clamping it in the wrong place, I finally got my way. They clamped it where you see it in the pic and I haven't had any more problems in 8K miles.

the charge piping is installed correctly or it would have cracked from day one or atleast some time in the 30,000 miles that i had it on there.... And it has nothing to do with me thinking i am wrong. Its funny to me when people like you who know close to nothing about a car try and argue about something they think is right when your the type of person who prolly hasnt picked up a wrench in your life. Your intercooler obviously broke the first time the way the factory assymled it right? And if you knew that the Techs at GM were installing it wrong why would you crawl under there and move the CP back to where it belongs? I think its one 11mm bolt.. lol Nah just leave it the way it is, its under warranty.. Sounds very reasonable lol and the installation part had nothing to do with your arguement earlier i believe it was something like your running too much boost if i remember right? LOL so dude just shut up... I made the thread to just put it out there that another intercooler cracked and i had a messed up day. Things break all the time and the intercooler just happens to be a weak point on these cars. $100 says you could look in the LNF tech thread right now and one of the first 10 subjects will be about someone cracking one of these. Your arguement is pointless.

There's an issue with running most of the aftermarket charge pipes. They use hard piping all the way up to the IC, except for ZZP. The result is a lot more stress on the end tanks. None of those companies will admit the issue. ZZP has the best designed charge pipes that I've seen.
Then there's also the ones that are not connected to the engine. Guaranteed to cause issues.

He got butt-hurt im a hurry, didn't he? I don't understand why people get on here to bitch about stuff that's their own fault, then get offended when experienced cobalt owners tell them exactly that. Maybe it's my e-tact.
HAHA nooo far from butt hurt i just felt sorry for you cause you look like a complete retard. Your quote exactly "I don't understand why people get on here to bitch about stuff that's their own fault, then get offended when experienced cobalt owners tell them exactly that." listen to your self.. you created the entire problem by making a "operator error" and not moving a coupler so GM had to put up with your stupid ass on three occasions. common sense dude. If you were a "experienced cobalt owner" or car owner you would have known better than to leave something wrong on your car. If there is a problem fix it.... exactly what im doing in my situation. Bought a new intercooler which is already here, have a 02 sensor on the way and ordered a thermostat today. The only thing that was my fault was the o2 sensor failure. and its still only partially my fault a 02 sensor shouldnt go out due to a small boost leak. Front 02s are also on the list of frequent problems. Do a little research... im pretty sure i could run circles around you when it comes to anything about these cars. Unlike you I BUILT MY CAR FROM THE GROUND UP and... YOU went and BOUGHT YOUR CAR the way it is. think about who you are talking to and what you know before running your mouth. It only makes you look more ignorant.

I never complained about the car breaking. Plainly stated a bad day and wanted to blow it up haha. And i never hit a damn racoon and blamed it on GM either
..... lol cant stop laughing about that one..... Your need to exagerate on my chiseling my car out of metal only digs ur hole deeper. Can you grab at anything else? You really get worked up though when people prove you wrong. Its quite funny.
P.S. You did hit my age dead on BTW.... But it only leaves me guessing.... are you one of those old men going through a mid life crisis that have nothing better to do than argue with some kid on the internet over how u hit a racoon with hopefully your sons car? No biggie if its yours i see older men driving cobalt ss's all the time I just usually point and laugh

Just one more stab really quick... when u "mill" something you usually put it on a machine hammers and chisels arnt usually used in the milling process.... since we are going to pick at words....... il come back to see what ways you can make yourself look more stupid tomorrow.
