I'm not going to lie - I was thinking exactly this;

Anyways, nice purchase and enjoy!
I also took the time to read your other posts, so I won't be flaming you...

if you take your time and research everything out, you probably won't go wrong - I'd encourage you to just get a Forge bypass valve to make noise ~ if noise is what you want;
iirc the only way to properly do an atmospheric vent is to relocate the mass air flow... but the newer trifecta 'enhanced charge prediction' (or 'ECP') tune might be another get around... ??

Alright bro will have to look into it then. After looking at the youtube vids of the Forge BPV's it doesn't sound any different from what I have now.

Well I have better quality pictures, keep in mind I haven't gotten around to cleaning the engine bay yet so it's gonna look dirty. Here we go:

welcome to the summit white club...yes we are the rare ss (besides the yellow guys lol). my advice, LEAVE THE CAR ALONE!!! you stated you will not be racing it. sounds like you got a tune that's more than you are use to already and the gm tune is NOTHING compared to the other tunes. if you want to do mods, the coilover idea is nice and other suspension goodies. the blow off thing...well like someone said is touchy...just reading your post and your story it will get you into trouble. how? you are going to go around blowing it off and someone will hear you and provoke you into a race...you won't resist and there you go...totaled. it's your car. you can do anything you want, but asking my opinon you have enough for your skill level of driving, actually more than enough. if you cruise down to galveston area, i'll be the only white ss balt around here. enjoy the car!!

Thanks man, Yeah I kinda fell away from the idea of a BOV I want to keep the car within factory range since it's still under warranty. Your right white is a rare color, I don't see any other white SS/TC's around here or maybe I'm not looking hard enough. The lessons that I learned from those two accidents where to be mindful of other drivers on the road. Before I used to drive without the idea of ever being a victim of an accident or wasn't as alert to other drivers on the road. Now it seems like I'm so alert driving I don't do the things that most of us do, change stations on the radio is one of them, but the turbo is all the music I need Its more of a fear factor that sets in, everyone on the road is the worry not me but when it comes to a SS/TC riding next to me it's all good haha lol. I'm gonna go to Galveston this July with my Fiancee she'll be stopping by from South Korea. She's also stoked about my TC's it's funny how she tells me, It's same car like the other one you had

Yes here's my little mini project for today

I didnt like any of the aftermarket headlights for the cobalt. I do like the projector retrofits out there.

Dont do anything else to the car. Leave it the way it is now. Its probably fast enough for ya. You get an HPtune or Trifecta, then you'll burn out the clutch, blow the turbo, wreck the transmission, destroy the engine. In that order.

If you do get a more powerful tune, you' better start looking into getting a stronger clutch, and dont floor it all the time, dont race everyone on the road.
