I have officially started modding my SS/TC. Just got the windows tinted 1 shade below limo and 45 on the windshield (Shhh don't tell). Friday I am getting my Double-Din DVD head unit and JL 10w3's installed. Also getting my bowties painted black and my tail and brake lights smoked as well. Can't wait. Also getting my rims powder coated glossy black soon and some Halo projector headlights as well.

It keeps it a lot darker and cooler inside the car. It's a very light shade and doesn't effect my vision at all. It eliminates the use of sunglasses, and gives the windows a limo look from the outside, but a much lighter view from the inside. Pretty much makes it almost impossible to see inside the car, and makes it a lot easier to accomplish that while still being able to see out of the car clearly.

Honestly, because I don't spend much time on here navigating the site, so I didn't notice it. If a moderator wants to move it then that's fine.

haha yeah, I expect that some people will flame me on here because I don't spend all my time on here, but I prefer that fat hookers with aveo's lay off my back. I could just as easily say, "Honestly, why put half naked pictures of yourself on a car forum, for a car that you do not even own?"

But I don't, because I try to lay off being a complete **** to people on forums, unless of course, they decide it's necessary.

Oh and I have a red one, I'm pretty much making it an all red and black car, I love that look.

yeah I love that look too. And I know a few cops that will sign off any tint or license plate tickets I get, so I'm good in that area. Pics will be up shortly.

Wow dude. Wow. Someone has taken offense to the tinted windshield. Haha yeah obviously this guy knows nothing about tint, or he would know that 50% doesn't make it any harder to see. Plus if the guys drunk and gets hit by the car, then they will find it in the autopsy and you will not get murder charges. Happened to a guy I knew, and he's dead, and the driver got off scott free, even though he fled the scene of the accident.

And I'm just giving my opinion (along with everyone elses who actually has the windshield tinted) that it's a lot better, and easy to see out of. We know from experience. It's only 45% not limo buddy.

if you want to go down that path about the front you might aswell go down and say any mod is dangerous. you know how much pollution it takes to make that plastic for the tint? or the emmisions from peoples aftermarket exhausts? people need to simmer down

 

yeah i have 35% on the windshield, and you can see out of it easy as hell i dunno what your talking about no being able 2 see out of it cus thats bull ****....the only thing is if im looking out my side mirrors and its dark as hell outside and you **dont have your lighs on** then i cant see u

Yeah, **** me for tinting my windshield. lol Helps with heat and it's very easy to see out of. If I lived somewhere where it didn't get very hot I wouldn't have done it, but Southern California is very hot, so I did it. Bring out the cross!

 

I do not care what anybody thinks about tinted windshields. My friend had 45-50% on his truck. During the day it was fine, but at night visability was dramatically reduced. It was almost like he had incandescent headlights not halogen ones. Like it has already been stated it is like driving at night with sunglasses on.
