Finally paid off the cobalt
Finally paid off the cobalt
Well as the title says, the cobalt is paid off finally. 08 with 51k miles. Now it's either build, or keep as a daily and buy something else. I'm thinking about buying a 2015 Silverado after winter is over and building the cobalt a little. Decisions decisions.
Feels good until some old lady in a 2012 DTS hits you a month after paying it off and a week later the windshield gets chipped. A year after that you get a random dent in your deck lid...wtf? Then the following year a a girl in a 2013 Focus puts the hurt on you in the same spot the DTS hit you 2 years ago.
Congrats and mod the **** out of it.

Yeah I'm waiting for something like that to happen haha. And in my 8 years of driving I've never had a rock hit my window, I now have two chips in the last month.
I would only have to finance about $15k on a new truck.. That's not that much. I'd probably do the loan over three years. I'm not selling the cobalt unless I received an amazing offer for it. And I would love a GTO or F body, but I don't want a 10 year old vehicle. I want something new with decent interior and since I'm buying a boat next month I need a truck lol
The power isn't what I'm concerned with. I just don't like dodges at all. Especially the Dakota. I do enjoy people telling me what to do with my money though lol
Must be a nice feeling to get the car finally paid off.........I have 22 more payments to go on my 2010......not sure what ill be doing either......keeping and modding it or selling it......nothing really gets me excited tho as far as new cars....thought about 2015 sti but browsing their forums some people are having engine problems with the same old EJ motor thats still in the STI.....get with the times subaru.....its been 10 years
My cousin works for Subaru, he said he would never buy one lol. They get cars in with 10k miles and blown motors. Plus I test drove a 14 STi and was not impressed at all.
Didn't know that about subarus. 10 months left and my 2010 is paid off. Will keep it as long as long as possible too. Turn those car payments into mortgage and try to get the house paid by 2018. Than hopefully aan atsv will be out.
I'm sure it's not very common but the fact that it's happening to stock engines with low miles is worrisome. And yeah definitely don't blame you on the mortgage. Get that **** paid off lol
Yeah same here. They payment when I first got it I actually had to manage my money around my car payment.. The last two years it was just another monthly bill lol. I could easily afford double what I was paying and not have any issues
Its exciting to get it paid off. What ends up happening tho is that money you thought you were going to start seeing in your pockets dissappears. Dunno where it goes, its real life ******* magic.
