thats so beautiful dude, i know how u feel, im stille xcited! have fun! but try to take it easy on it somewhat. im just now at 500miles and i dont feel a difference cause maybe i drove it too hard but thats just me. have fun dude and be safe! congrats, btw it looks eactly like mine! i have black on black interior
thanks man yeha black on black way to go but i can notice everything on the car just form sitting for like 5 min it sucks but when clean she is a beauty! yeah i have about 417 miles i picked it up monday after noon but i really just started getting on it today ho wmany miles u htink should be on it b4 no lift shift? have u tried it yet?

Now see, I was always told that you should give an engine and car atleast 1500 miles to really wear and get proper grooves. You don't want to start forming your natural braking grooves on those nice Brembos only to mess them up with some hard braking before time. Plus piston groovage lol. Maybe I am wrong, but I always heard like 1500 miles before you get on it.
I know that for my parent's 2004 BMW Z4, it said right in the manual the amount of miles you should take er easy for. Check the owners manual?
200 seems way to short of a break in period. I know that my new SS wont be seeing anything above 4k RPMS till atleast 750+ miles. whichs is only about a week (5days) of work for me. First car, not taking chances.

Yeah, the manual says 500 miles before any hard acceleration, then gradually increase after that. 1000 - 1500 miles sounds about right to me before really nailing it... well, that's the theory of course... not sure if I can wait that long!
