Front Brembo Rotor Recall
Wow Really??? I liked the brembos.. except for the tons of dust… it was always somethin else to brag about.. eh.. My car's at this Chevy Dealership right now, if I say something about it, will they know what I'm talkin about?? And are there any other recalls out there for the 09 ss?

it wasnt exactly the charge piping that was the problem, it was a bolt holding a bracket or something the rubbed the cold side piping and could cause it to wear a hole in the piping. i just pulled the bolt out and used a dremel with a cutting blade and chopped the bolt about 1/2 inch shorter.
o no, I know what you're talkin about with the charge piping now, That happened to mine about 1000 miles into it.. I came up with a MAF fault an took it in, they replaced it, put a different bolt and some washers and said they've been having lots of problems with em. I didn't know there was a recall tho… Wat about the rotors tho? My local dealership is stupid and all about money so if I say somethin about rotors they're just gonna replace em and charge me later.. so….

Mine falls into that vin range and the car is in for service right now since it broke down. So ill be callin them up tomorow to have them correct this as well.
The upper charge pipe TSB was for the '08 and part of '09 to replace the mounting bolt that mounted the upper charge pipe to the engine block. They replaced the bolt with a bolt/clip combination.
The lower charge pipe TSB was for the radiator support bolt that portruded through the frame and could possible contact the lower charge pipe and rub a hole in it. They just removed the bolt.
