General questions about maintanance

I take ver good care of my car and keep up to date with everything. I recently have been going to SCCA autox meets and fell in love. I have gone the last two events and they happen the first weekend of every month. Idk if I will be going to EVERY single meet, but I plan too. My question is , running the car like that once a month I am sure different things come i to effect as far as maitanance goes. Mt tires are starting to feather a little so I may need to roatate tires? I have 17.4K miles on it and changed my oil around 16K

Should I chain oil sooner now? Anyhing as gar as chainging coolent sooner also? What should I do to make sure she runs smooth and not abuse her

Lightbulb Not sure about auto Xing, but ...

In general, I would not want to go that long on an oil change. In theory, your oil life monitor may have been OK w/ that, I would not.

Of course, I may have totally read the way you meant that wrong, too.

I was just looking at mine - I have gone around 500 miles, and my oil ife is at 93%.

So, 500/.07 = 7142 miles to be at zero, if everything was linear.

RE Xcross - I would assume that more frequent tire rotations, oil changes, and brake inspections/pad replacements would be the norm. Maybe more frequent frot end aligments or inspections of the bushings & ball joints as well.

Coolant is a good question - another of htose that in theory it is good for 5 years or 150K, whichever comes first.

I spoke with a guy while at work that was somehow involved wih the Dexcool when it was being developed , and he says it doesn't really ever wear out. It can be contaminated, though, and that is why the manufacturers are recommending the change intervals they do.

Condensed version of above :

Blah blah blah - I don't know.

Free TTT, however.
