Thumbs up Gotta love the MPG!

So I typically do a lot of city driving, maybe like 60-70% city 40-30% highway, and usually get 240 miles to a tank with an avg. around 20.7mpg.

I put my Dejon SRI on about a month ago, and since installing that my mileage has significantly improved....(suprisingly seeing Ive definitely been stabbing the throttle more to hear the sweet turbo sound! haha)...after the SRI intake Ive been seeing 260miles to a tank with an avg. a little over 21mpg.

My 21st birthday was last Friday, so I went to Mohegan Sun with my girlfriend on Sunday and just got back today. I filled up when I left, and started the trip odometer over like always. We went from 20mins North of Boston, all the way to Mohegan, to Mystic Ct. for the sights, back to Mohegan, then back home and still had a little over an 1/8th of a tank left with 260miles of the trip odometer, and an avg. of 24.5 mpg! Im expecting to see about 310miles on this tank!

Ive had my car for just about a year now, and it still never ceases to impress me. For such a quick car, you just gotta love the mileage! Especially seeing the reason I bought a small car was to get away from my gas guzzling Avalanche haha. SS/TC...performance and economy all in one!

The trip was great too. Mohegan was fun and Mystic was real nice. I couldnt remember but arent there some members on here from the Mystic area?

I took some pictures of the car while I was there, Ill post them later on.

How fast were you driving? If you cruise at about 65 you can get it up to about 30-31 on the highway...

From what I have found, the 22/30 rating is spot on...

This morning on my 25 mile drive to work which is about 75% hwy driving I averaged nearly 40 mpg. Instant was about 42-50 most of the way. Granted I was driving like grandma but still. I get about the same mileage as a prius. . BTW. I did not get that mileage stock. I have 3 hours of part throttle street style tuning on my car as well as the dyno tune and the bolton parts dont hurt either.

I don't see how that is even possible...the best I have ever gotten is 35.5 on a 45 mile trip...and I was going about 50 the entire way...

More power to you if it is true!

I prefer getting 20 and having fun!

Yah at points if I was on a perfectly flat service with cruise control at 72ish I was seeing a steady 42mpg on the inst. For the majority of the trip I was doing between 70 and 75mph with cruise control.

I wish I had posted before I left so I could have met up with some other SS/TCs. Like you said, I havent seen any others in my area since I bought mine either. Not one! And there is only like 1 or 2 SS/SCs to my knowledge in my area.

I got close to 40. 39.2 to be exact. Mostly at 45-55 mph. Stock the best I could get is 34 or so. Part throttle tuning really helped this thing a lot. Heck Corvettes get 30 mpg on the hwy.

My MPG has skyrocketed since I have gotten a tune. At highway speeds using cruise control I regularly see low 30's mpg...the flat roads of the NJ turnpike dont hurt either.

I averaged about 35 mpg on the way home today. AC blasting makes a 3-4 mpg difference on these little motors.
