headlights

anyone know how to adjust the headlight housing...my lights where the bumper meets the light is kinda pushed in too far and i need to adjust it out but i cant figure out how

please help

you might have to aim the light differently to compinsate for the placing of the light housing

i dont mean aiming i mean how the light sits in the housing on my car. its not flush with the bumper

try removing the headlight and reinstalling it. that way if it was bumped in from it's normal position, by reseating it it should realign everything. you can also check for any possible damage in the mount or on the back of the light as well.

welcome to the cobalt!!! almost all of these cars have that problem!

which part of the bumper, you have small front and back, left and right play, but up and down theres none

i think hes talking about in the front, on the bottom, it doesnt sit ontop of the bumper like it should, it kinda hangs behind it level

you see that huge gap...if i can fix that i would be so happy

my car looks so awesome but that **** just ruins all the work ive put into it.

hehe....I actually think that the headlights are okay, I think it is your bumper that is off. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that you can move the bumper somewhat. by the way, nice loking car!

take the bumper off and trim the styrofoam thats inbetween the bumper and the crash bar. thats what is "pushing" up on the top of the bumper

you don't need a how to lol. but if you must....
step1. take off bumper
step2. trim styrofoam
step3. reinstall bumper
