Help with choosing a cobalt
Help with choosing a cobalt
Question, I am looking at two options, first is this one. https://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/5635812011.html
Since he posted this, he said he blew the engine because of "an issue with the 3bar map sensor." He then got a zzp short block that had an issue apparently. Then bought the zzp long block and was put in by a shop last week. He is asking $9500 for it. I like the idea that this has a lot of good parts. He has receipts which I have seen some of them. Any red flags or concerns people have?
Second one is this one 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt | ksl.com
With it having 62k miles, am I out of the clear with the porousity issue?

That yellow cobalt for 9500 is my brother old cobalt lol. I was gonna get it but the law has decided no for a year lol.
Lots done to it. Just needs a ZFR and Fuel lobe cam or 5th injector to be ready for 500.
Already has bolt ons, opels, trans mounts, pwerks stage 2 trans, new LDK long block. It's ready to get something big thrown in it.
