Help with choosing a cobalt

Question, I am looking at two options, first is this one. https://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/5635812011.html

Since he posted this, he said he blew the engine because of "an issue with the 3bar map sensor." He then got a zzp short block that had an issue apparently. Then bought the zzp long block and was put in by a shop last week. He is asking $9500 for it. I like the idea that this has a lot of good parts. He has receipts which I have seen some of them. Any red flags or concerns people have?

Second one is this one 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt | ksl.com
With it having 62k miles, am I out of the clear with the porousity issue?

That yellow cobalt for 9500 is my brother old cobalt lol. I was gonna get it but the law has decided no for a year lol.

Lots done to it. Just needs a ZFR and Fuel lobe cam or 5th injector to be ready for 500.
Already has bolt ons, opels, trans mounts, pwerks stage 2 trans, new LDK long block. It's ready to get something big thrown in it.

There is no guarantee on the porous block and you never know if or when it may or may not happen. Both look nice,

Yeah yellow one seems better if he has all his paper work in order. The red one is nice but man they riced out the interior with that red crappie imo

Gotcha, I've been texting your brother. He mentioned that the install all went well and whatnot of the new long block.
