How cool would it be to put the Auto, T-case
and rear out of the AWD equinox and jam it under a cobalt SS.
I think they are the same or similar transmissions. Looking under the rear, I believe it would be possible, albeit thru significant fabrication to go AWD.

We can be indifferent to wheelbase- the equinox uses a small dia prop shaft and independent rear that bolts in as a unit. The prop shaft can be easily cut and rebalanced by any competant driveshaft shop.
I pretty much have the LNF in mind. It's my fav. right now.
I'd like to look at the CBSS and HHRSS to see whats more feasable. Be an nice package to offer @ NewEra.
When I get done with Joe T's Lnf, he's going to need some way to hook it all down.. of course if it runs my solstice from a dig I'll be really annoyed..

Since all the power is currently going to the front wheels, Id say chiefin' upon 40% should help the situation up front.
I know they have some problems with the rear ends in the AWD's but thats mostly due to unnnoticed oil loss.
It's definitly an unknown.

in my mind you would have to go automatic or severly modify the stock tranny as there is no output on the SS transaxel for AWD... so it would look as though you would be swapping for the auto tranny out of the Acadia or Equinox
