Since I have now owned my car for the better part of a year now, I was thinking about how the car has lived up to my expectations.

As a result this got me thinking as to what all of you feel about your car. So we will do a standard poll...

Honestly I was expecting a bit more from all the hype but I'm in no way disappointed in my choice.

 

IMO this should be in the "General Cobalt" section

 

I can't vote because in some aspects I feel a 5, in others a 1. Some thiings about my car I love, other things I hate. 50% grinning from ear to ear, 50% swearing about it.

When I first got my Balt, I thought it was alright, but kinda boring, but as of now with my mods I love it, it gets alot of attention, I'm always getting compliments on it, it's not fast by any means but I love the styling of it, and it's the nicest car I've ever owned.

 

In it's prime, my car would have been the 5.5 option. But now, after 60k miles and all the quirks that comes with those miles, its a 4.

 

Well, i bought my 08 SS/tc as my commuter car and even though I'm almost over the stigmata of driving a cobalt I have to say its an incredible car. Sure it has weird noises and in the cold it gets worse, but as for performance i have to say it surprised me like no other car i've owned(and i've owned some fast cars). I just hate all the rev's or fly by want to race people, its weird because I get it alot from much more expensive "sport" cars....

I was thinking about a 4 to 5 until I went to trade it in on a G8 GT yesterday and they would only give me $5000 on a trade. No wonder GM cant sell any cars.

 

damn. looking at those poll results I can see we have either alot of happy owners, or just alot of fanbois

I frequently curse at my car. It consistently disappoints me every time I race it or do any mods to it.
However I usually enjoy driving it and for the $ I really couldnt have gotten anything better at the time.

I only just hit 3K miles in mine but man, every time I punch that gas I can't help but smile. 5 for me.

 

I put a 5.... but it isn't how I would describe it, I love my car because I put alot of time/money in it & she has brought home the awards... too back it up!
So I guess you could say it did what I expected & still is!

thats ok mine has 8500 after 3 1/2 years total it's like getting in a new car every time

 

i put 1 because i want my car faster but i don't have money to upgrade. we need a light weight 300 whp/300 tq. woot woot.

 

I have a 2.4 auto. It's exactly as I hoped. It's not the fastest car in the world, but it'll get me plenty of tickets. It's great for a daily, and it gets sweet gas mileage. Plus, it looks damn good.

 

I still like driving my car, but it is 4 years old now and I'm getting tired of it. Hoping to upgrade by htis time next year.
