How Does The Cobalt Look?

so i made a thread last night about a cobalt im was contemplating purchasing and u guys certainly talked me out of it. u guys are such a huge help and thats y i love this site. im looking to get a ss/tc with around 25k or less miles on it. ive found about 3 withing the 200mile radius ha. i know sux. now i dont want black but ive ruled out 2 of the 3 and id be able to live with black. i want u guys to look at this and tell me if u recognize this car, if it looks good, if u can pick out anything out of the ordinary. and i called the dealer to ask them if the car had the G85 package and he said uhhhhh... ha so i told him under the mat in the trunk it should have a little badge that says G85 package on it if im correct ha. but im not sure if thats true ha. if im wrong please let me know so i can correct myself to this guy. but ya. check out the carfax on this car, tell me wat u guys think if this car looks clean.

Looks really clean. Low miles.

Got a Hahn Upper charge pipe and looks like a Hahn intake.

Good choice, although I'm not a fan of black.

neither am i. i really wanted white or that maroon color, but the turbo cobalts are hard to find around here. with low miles anyway. the only way i find it worth trading my 06 with 66000 miles on it, is to find a tc balt with very low miles. which like i said i found 3. 2 where white and the other was this 1. 1 of the white ones had like a hole cut in the bumper and a bunch of homosexual mods ha. the second white one was lightly modded but the carfax stated it was in an accident, and ive had nothing but problems with cars that have been in accidents and then there is this one. which id get over the color i think. its still nice just not the one i wanted the most

Well if you dont want black one, dont even get this one. Just wait for the one you want, I jumped on the first SC cobalt I found and it was a yellow. I ******* hate yellow.

Just wait till you get what you want, if you want a white one then wait for it or find a SRTC.

That white one was hideous. I love White, but Lambo doors and shitty painted grille was too much.

I'd of gotten that white one if they would of slashed the price, then I would of returned it to stock lol.

Don't pay that much. You can get a TC for around $16k. I paid 18,200 last year and really regret it.

Just for the record, I used the VIN on the page to see if it has G85 (LSD) and it is on there.

Best,

ill definitely be doing a little haggling im not to worried about that. ill probabaly try for $17k, and sarah thank u. ha they actually just called me and confirmed it did have g85 thank u very much for the help =]. much appreciated.

I have another TC i could be potentially looking at tho. im leaning more towards this black one here, but i am considering this one mainly because its white. but i sortof wanna shy away from it because it has engine bay pics and im not sure im happy about wat i see but i dont even know wat im looking at ha. i see a zzp charge pipe and an injen cai i think, but theres some black thing on there that says zzp and idkw at it is or if i should be worried about it. the dealer confirmed that this one also has g85 which is exciting but if u look at the carfax ull see that this vehicle has an accident report. which i REALLY wanna shy away from but from what i read on the carfax it was serious, no body structure damage and the repair didnt even cost more than 1000$. but i wanted white exterior with red seats and g85. thats really my wants. i think id be ok with either but the all black seats are kindof a big deal to me. im not a fan. but ya, does anyone remember this car or know this car?

Go to your car;
lift the trunk mat;
affixed to the trunk floor somewhere infront of your sub is a silver sticker;
that silver sticker shows all the (standard or selected) option codes that the car has;
if the car had limited slip from the factory, the code 'G85' will be printed on that sticker.
