How to keep turbo/under hood cooler

I've noticed my turbo and underneath my hood gets pretty hot. I was thinking some sort of cowl induction hood but I don't know. After I park my car I can't even touch the intercooling piping and can feel the heat radiating from the turbo. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep that **** cooler?

Metal charge pipes ftl
Anyway check out a member named japeater i cant remember which hood he has but it is one of if not the only one shown to draw air out of the engine compartment. To me its horrifically ugly but i can appreciate the functionality.

You can ceramic coat the exhaust housing, but you're compressing air so heat is generated. As well as using the exhaust gases to generate the compressed air

My hood works pretty well for helping with this. Also there's a rubber insulation piece at the back of the hood that keeps the hot air in, I took that off.

That's basically what I kinda what. I think urs is pretty badass. Where did you find that at? I just want some fresh cool air hitting the turbo (besides the IC air)

best idea to keep your turbo cool is to unbolt it from the exhaust manifold and put it in your trunk, just run a pipe to the up pipe.

My hood isn't made anymore. The new Extreme Dimensions hood is interesting though.
