This was one of the first mods I did to my car once Ted started producing this setup, and it actually sounded great with the stock dp. Unfortunately I think the videos posted above are a little deceptive in how loud this setup really is with a catless dp though.

Once I installed a catless dp on my car I personally couldn't stand how obnoxious the side exit and catless dp sounded together. I ran the setup for literally a day at best before it got REALLY old and put the stock catback on.

I by no means dislike the open straight pipe sound nor am I bashing the sound of your car steven2008ss (especially considering I've been running a straight pipe setup for quite sometime now, the only difference is mine dumps in the stock location at the rear bumper), I just disliked how obnoxious the sound was with the exhaust dump being right underneath the driver's door. **** maybe I'm just getting old.. haha

just my .02

ESPECIALLY with a catless DP

I love it! Im running a catless dp and an treadstone straight pipe catback...man do our cars sound the same.

Keep in mind the car can be made somewhat quiet with cat warmup deleted and a light foot on the throttle. Its all in how you drive.

Sounds VERY different from inside the car though. It's rediculous how loud things can get when the exhaust dump is right next to your driver's window..

I've considered that. Get a nice MPX catback with an E-cutout

Yeah, they're that bad in my area. I got pulled over for my STOCK exhaust (thats right I said STOCK) because was "too loud". I argued with the cop for 15 minutes about my exhaust being factory and he didn't believe me. Gave me a written warning for it too.
